Finally back... Sale-A-Bration

I took a long break from stamping, but back from my hiatus.  I wanted to share with you the cards made at my recent Sale-A-Bration (SAB) event.  This is a simple 3"x3" card that was made with the Punch Bunch stamp set which you can get free with any $50 purchase.  You can view the SAB catalog here.

Have you seen the Occasions Mini Catalog?  One of my favorites is the cupcake stamp set.  The best part is there's a matching punch.  This is what we created at the SAB event (also a 3"x3" card).

Stamp Set: Create a Cupcake;
Card Stock: Whisper White, Pink Piroquette, Soft Suede; Ink: Pink Piroquette, Soft Suede;Accessories: Stampin' Dimensions, Build a Cupcake Punch, Bone Folder, Sponge,
Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Mini Glue Dots

If you want to make this into a regular A2 card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"), you can try this:

Here is a close up view.  I sponged the edges of the "Happy Birthday" and curled the piece with a bone folder.  I added dimensionals and mini glue dots to try to keep its shape.  It will probably get smashed when it gets mailed.

Bleach Stamping Card and Technique and Holiday Card Idea

Bleach is not only for cleaning... you can use it with your stamps.  Bleach stamping works well with dark colored card stock.  Here is picture of a card and technique page using bleach stamping.  I also added some shimmer to this card and technique page. Subscribe for the month of November to get the instructions and details at Craft Project Central.

Normally, I have a holiday stamp-a-stack, but this year, I've been really busy with work, kid activities, and volunteering.  Hopefully, this will help those who will miss my class this year.  This card is almost exactly the same as the one created with the bleach technique.

Jolly Holiday Clothespins and Tags for Craft Project Central

Decorative clothespins and tags are one of the latest creations I designed for Craft Project Central.  I love how you can take an ordinary household item, clothespins, and dress them up.  You can attach tags with clothespisn to gift bags and the receipients of your gift can use the decorative clothespins to hold  mail, close their opened chip bags, etc.  I'm sure you can think of more uses.

The clothespins are painted and sealed.  Yes, the hard part is putting the spring back on after the painting and sealing.  The acrylic paints were close to the Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Old Olive.

Trick or Treat

Stampin' Up! now has these new letterpress plates which will let you create an ink debossed impression.  I used the "Trick or Treat" letterpress plate to decorate a bag.  The image is very crisp (hard to see in this small picture).  I also made a matching candy wrapper.  You might be able to see the Spider Web Textured Impressions embossing folder used on the candy wrapper and the bag.
