Happy Anniversary! and Clean & Simple 100th Sketch

Here's the anniversary card we plan to give to our parents today. The inspiration for this card came from the Clean & Simple FTL 100 Sketch. I started off trying to put the "Happy Anniversary" sentiment at the bottom like the sketch, but it just didn't feel balanced. So, here is a slight variation of the sketch.  Don't you love the penguins?  The penguins were made using the Two-step Owl punch.  You clip off the ears to create the penguin's body and to change the feet color, I found it easier to clip off the black feet and then punch part of the feet with small part of the body with Pumpkin Pie card stock. For the nose, I used the heart shape from the punch.

This idea came from a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator,  Megan Anderson.  If you haven't seen the owl, here is an earlier card I made with the owl (click here).

Here another card using the sketch. This might be my daughter's birthday card since she loved the penguins in the anniversary card.

12" x 12" Framed Calendar

Sonya designed this great 12" x 12" Frame Calendar, which will make a great Christmas gift!   Each month is beautifully decorated. The best part about this calendar...  you can use the calendar year after year. You can write the days of the month using dry erase markers and when it's the new month, simply wipe off the days and rewrite the days for the new month. Plus, there is a magnet board so you can put magnets.  There are instructions on how to make marble magnet too.
